Course Description :
Perl is a programming language which can be used for a large variety of tasks.
A typical simple use of Perl would be for extracting information from a text file
and printing out a report or for converting a text file into another form.
But Perl provides a large number of tools for quite complicated problems,
including systems programming. This course is especially useful for web developers,
system administrators, and desktop publishers.
Intended for :
Anyone who requires a practical hands-on introduction to Web Server side programming using the Perl Programming Language.
Prerequisites :
Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript or other Web Scripting language is an advantage,
however not essential as the basic concepts of programming are revised throughout
the course. You must be prepared to spend time writing code either at our offices,
or in your own home to reach your required level of competency.
